How to Spa
Q. How early should I arrive for my appointment?
A. You should arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time. Be aware that arriving late will determine the length of your services. Your services will end as scheduled so the next guest may begin on time.
Q. May I request a male or female therapist?
A. Of course. Keep in mind that all therapists are professionally trained and you will be properly draped throughout your treatment. Being able to receive from either therapist will allow you more flexibility in booking your appointment.
Q. Do I have to disrobe completely for my spa services?
A. Most guests do. It is up to your comfort level. You will be carefully draped throughout your service.
Q. Can I ask my therapist to adjust for my comfort level?
A. Please Do. This is your treatment. Discuss with your therapist about pressure and technique. We need your feed back. At the time you schedule your appointment, please discuss your preference for gentle, moderate or deep pressure.
Q. May I bring my children while I receive a treatment?
A. No. Blue River Canyon is not responsible for children left unattended in any area of the spa. In order to respect the tranquility of each of our clients, we do not allow children to be in the room during any treatment.
Q. What if I am pregnant?
A. Please inform us when you schedule your appointment so that we can provided you with special trained therapists and a pregnancy pillow. We can provide prenatal massage for clients from 13 weeks till delivery.
Q. What do I need to bring with me for my treatments?
A. Many services provide a robe and slippers for your day at the spa.
Q. What is the common practice for gratuity?
A. It is appreciated but not expected. Most people tip from 10% to 20%. You may tip your therapist in their rooms or we can accept tips when you check out with a cash, check or credit card.

Q. Blue River Canyon Group Booking
A. We would love to help you celebrate a Birthday, Bridal Shower, Corporate Event, or "Just Because". Our group scheduling is very flexible, we do not require set packages or services - it is completely up to you! You can include serving food, bringing in wine or champagne, scheduling everyone for the same service(s) or each person for something different. Please inquire about reserving our private Tea Room.
We want to make sure everything for your party runs smoothly, to do so, we ask that you please arrive at a minimum of 15 minutes before your scheduled appointments to fill out any necessary paperwork and to start your services on time.
* We hold all appointments with a credit card, you are welcome to use a different form of payment the day of your services.
* Any changes or cancellations need to be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled appointment time to avoid a charge for the full value of the services.
* We automatically add 15% gratuity to all groups of 4 or more people. If any of you decide that you would like to add more than the 15%, please let a Front Desk Coordinator know while you are checking out and we can make that adjustment.

Cancellation and/or Change of Service Policy
All gift cards are non-refundable (gift cards have no cash value) but are transferable. We ask that you notify our Day Spa at least 24-hours in advance (48-hours for Saturday, Monday and 72-hours for large parties) if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a charge equivalent to 100% of the price of the treatment, spa package, gift card or gift certificate. All no shows are charged at full service value.
